The No Doubt is in the studio working on a new album, the band's seventh. Nine songs are ready and the new work should begin in 2011.

While the new work is not enough, fans of No Doubt will be presented with the Icon No Doubt, including the biggest hits and favorite songs from the other members. The collection will hit stores from November 22.

"As the band is recording a new album for next year, we felt it would be a good idea to remind all the good music that No Doubt did for all these years. We feel that the Icon to launch the biggest hits from No Doubt is something extremely low cost to bring new fans to great music of the band, "said the manager of No Doubt, Jim Guerinot.

No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal and his longtime girlfriend, Erin Lokitz, are expecting their first child next year.

Our focus this week goes to the Brazilian singer Wanessa (at the beginning of his career was called Wanessa Camargo) and for the song "Não Me Leve a Mal (Let Me Live)". The song mixes English with the Portuguese leaving the music more lively and with a wonderful rhythm. The singer, who announced the recording of the video clip of the song in September but had to postpone because of the busy schedule, and only started recording in the 7th and 8th of this month (yesterday and today).

The next single from Britney Spears, who will be a new song, can be released in October.

According to a source close to Sony Music Australia, the new single from Spears' which will be part of her new collection will be released over the coming months. The band will be the flagship of "The Singles Collection," scheduled for release in November.

The same source also reports that the material commemorating 10 years of career of pop princess will have a version with two disks and a box with a limited collection. In addition, a DVD with clips of the artist will accompany the product.
